"Fujiyoshida - Thirty Six Frames, Roll 2" - My New Zine!
In my second self-published zine, I share my 36 favourite frames from a three-day trip to Fujiyoshida, Japan. I focus on both iconic views and quiet, everyday moments that made this city feel special and the journey unforgettable.

About the Project
Looking back at my Hong Kong and Japan trip in November 2025, it’s easy to get lost in the neon-soaked memories of Hong Kong and Tokyo or the fast-paced energy of Osaka. While those cities are beautiful, they felt incredibly busy. Everything changed when we reached Fujiyoshida, though.
We spent three days in Fujiyoshida, and though we originally planned to use it as a base to explore the wider region, something about the town made us stay put. Aside from a couple of inevitable tourist hotspots, Fujiyoshida was quiet, grounding, and deeply relaxing. It quickly became the most special part of the three weeks trip for me.
I was so immersed in the atmosphere that I didn't even realize how much film I was actually shooting. I came home to find I’d finished 10 rolls of 35mm film in just three days. When I saw the scans, I knew this specific body of work needed its own space and something more tangible than a few social media posts.
That realization is what started this project: a dedicated zine capturing the stillness, the light, and the unexpected magic of those ten rolls in Fujiyoshida.

About the Zine
My biggest photography related goal in 2026 is to print more of my work and also, share more of it outside social media. I'm really proud to release my second self-published zine about this unforgettable trip now!
I sincerely hope this zine will bring you joy and that you'll enjoy flicking through it!
To make it as accessible as possible (and to compensate the ever-increasing shipping fees), I decided to offer this zine on a pay-what-you-want basis. The production cost per copy is £2.50 not including my time and labour. My recommended price is £8, which keeps the project sustainable and supports future issues. Every support is greatly appreciated, and I can't thank you enough if you decide to pick up a copy, regardless of the price you choose!
If you are an artist and interested in a zine swap, feel free to contact me. I love collecting zines from other photographers or artists of all kinds.
Fujiyoshida – Thirty Six Frames, Roll 2 contains 36 colour film photographs (plus a cover image), all previously unpublished. The images were shot on a Leica M2 using various film stocks.
This 48-page A5 (148 × 210 mm) colour zine is printed on 150 gsm uncoated paper and finished with staple binding. The cover is printed on 300 gsm uncoated paper.
